The successful persons pay attention to the (Bible) words of their creator(God), just as it is written: My son or daughter, pay attention to my words; incline your ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it flow the issues of life. Put away from you a crooked speech from your mouth, and perverse lips put far from you. (Proverbs 4:20-24 )

Humility is an attitude of total dependence on the Lord and the recognition that we are His servants, and He is our Lord. It’s a mindset that puts Jesus first, others second, and ourselves last. Our natural tendency is to protect and promote ourselves; therefore, humility is not something we can muster in our own strength. God develops it within us as we believe, know, submit to, and seek Him.
Are you “WISER” than God?
For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

The life of faith is one of submission to God’s requests, methods, and time frames. As our listening skills improve, our faith in the Father will deepen, our commitment to Him will grow, and complete obedience will become easier.
Small compromises lead to more serious ones. With each successive concession, our conscience is weakened. Ultimately, whenever we give way to evil—whether we let go of a doctrinal belief or simply listen to music that taints our thoughts—we always lose.

In every painful situation, God is working to purify our life and make us righteous. Pain has a way of bringing to light sinful attitudes and practices, of which we were unaware. It drives us to our knees, and as we draw closer to the Lord, we see more of His holiness and recognize the ugliness of our sin. This is not a sign of God’s disfavor; rather it shows His love for us. He knows a path of sin is unfitting for His children. Let’s choose the better option of repentance and obedience. When we let our trials train us in holiness, we will reap “the peaceful fruit of righteousness” ( Heb. 12:11 ). And compliance with the will of our heavenly Father brings joy to His heart.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, for they are those who turn many to righteousness (to uprightness and right standing with God) they [shall give forth light] like the stars forever and ever. proverbs 11:30 , Daniel 12:3.

Developing a sturdy, well-rooted faith requires that we cooperate with the heavenly Father. Our human nature complicates matters by making us vulnerable to doubt. But when we choose to trust God, uncertainty cannot shrink our faith.
Devotion will never be, to impressive God.
Devotion is supposed to be as natural to the spirit as breathing is to the body. God wants us as friends and sons and daughters, not performers or title holders in the Church, name it worker, etc.
To put it positively: devotion is love for the perishing.
Count von Zinzendorf put it this way…….”Lord Jesus Christ, when my eye confronts my heart, and I realize that you have filled my heart with your love, I am breathless with amazement. Once my heart was so small in its vision, so narrow in its compassion, so weak in its zeal for truth. Then you chose to enter my heart, and now in my heart I can see you, I can love all your people, and I have courage to proclaim the truth of your gospel to anyone and everyone. Like wax before a fire, my heart has melted under the heat of your love”.
That’s devotion proclaiming without reservation the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart, with all soul and with all strength to others, who are heading to destruction because of what He the Lord deed for us
As we journey up in this life, the last days, circumstances around us, will like us to give up on God, question His laws and instructions and the things that matter to God. Don’t fall for it!!
Always remember, God does not follow the principle of men. Only a fool does!!

One way to maintain relevance, is to stay within our God ordained purpose and His clear instructions for our functioning on His purpose (1 Sam 13:1-14 ,15:1-26 ). Your purpose determines your place of relevance, so we remained relevant as long as we sought the Lord and operated within the parameters of His assignment, but will lost out relevance when we crossed the boundary of His calling (2 chronicle 26:1-23 ).
So, to stay useful we must give our whole life to that one thing God wants us to do for Him.
To the pure [in heart and conscience] all things are pure, meaning……. This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
But to the defiled and corrupt and unbelieving nothing is pure; meaning……. their very minds and consciences are defiled and polluted. They profess to know God [to recognize, perceive, and be acquainted with Him], but deny and disown and renounce Him by what they do; they are detestable and loathsome, unbelieving and disobedient and disloyal and rebellious, and [they are] unfit and worthless for good work (deed or enterprise) of any kind. (Titus 1:15 , 3:8 )

Those who forsake the law [of God and man] praise the wicked, but those who keep the law [of God and man] contend with them.
Because: evil men/women do not understand justice, but they who crave and seek the Lord understand it fully (proverbs 28:4-5).
He/she who hates, and pretends with his/her lips, but stores up deceit within him/herself. When he/she speaks kindly, do not trust him/her, for seven abominations are in his/her heart.
Though his/her hatred covers itself with guile, his/her wickedness shall be shown openly before the assembly.

It takes patience, perseverance, faith, trust, sacrifice, and discipline to follow through on this monumental project, “a call to be a Christian”. Obedience is the key and it means following God’s directions, even if we don’t understand or agree with them
Following God doesn’t mean living out Biblical principles only when it’s convenient or easy. Obedience should be our consistent lifestyle no matter what the circumstances are. obedience non-negotiable. Without a firm commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ, we will be a poor witness, and eventually give in to temptation.
Now no chastening (from God) seems to be joyful for the present, but Paintful, grievous: nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto those who have been trained by it (Hebrews 12:11). Therefore rejoice, for you’re loved!!
“ any form of disobedient, injustice, personal bias and discrimination. Those are the things that trigger God’s hatred—and should trigger ours. Thus says the Lord God Almighty: “I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing” (Isaiah 61:8)
Injustice is a condition that’s easy to recognize in others—especially in institutions and governing authorities—but much more difficult to spot in ourselves. Whatever “YOU” have to deal with today—whatever the demands might be. Whatever tasks need to be accomplish; whatever new ventures need to be taken on; whatever goals need to be reached; whatever success need to have today—ALL is possible with Jesus, if you really know Him and walk with Him in truth’. If a sheep takes its eyes off the shepherd, it can easily meander toward a more appealing patch of grass and end up far afield. In the same way, we might see a path that seems to lead to better opportunities. But as we follow it, we grow further from the Lord. We may not notice the distance between us and our Savior until we find ourselves in trouble.
Walk prudently when you go to the house of God your Creator, and draw near to hear, rather than to give the sacrifice of fools and showcase of fabulous fashion but empty of God’s instructions, for they do not know that they do evil.
He who turns away his ear from hearing the law [of God], even his prayer is an abomination, hateful and revolting [to God]. (Proverbs 28:9)
A LIFE of fellowship with Jesus Christ as a Christian, is not a LIFE of do what you like or as you please, it is a LIFE of restrictions/regulations, living according to God’s word, if one wants to make it at last to HEAVEN!!

We can’t legitimately claim to stand for God’s justice—or to oppose injustice in the world—until we’ve addressed the injustice in ourselves. Until we’ve taken a hard look at our attitudes toward others and the way we interact with them. we are far backward, don’t get deceived thinking because you occupy any leadership position or in the Church.
We cannot be what God intends us to be and still hold on to who we think we should be. If we are to be useful to God, we must give God first place in our life. For God to use us, we had to let go of our own identity, our agenda, and our pride, and let God redefine us
The moment we recognize our complete weakness and our completely dependence upon God our Creator, will be the very moment that the Spirit of God will exhibit His power upon us to excel in the things of God that are beyond man’s comprehension .
Satan’s lies cannot deceive those who are growing in the knowledge of God, and his attacks can’t destroy those kept by the power of God. We don’t have to be the victim because we can choose to live in the victory that God promises us as an overcomer, by increasing our knowledge through studying His words in the BIBLE daily.
No matter how trivia “SIN” may seems, not only causes suffering later; it also robs us of God’s best, He had in-store for our well being in the future. Glaring example: The Garden of Eden till today is closed and locked to sinful mankind.
Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure: for if you do these things: adding to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness love, You will never slumber nor fail in your relationship with God.
If we measure our salvation by the repeating of prayers, joining a church workers, or participating in church activities, our abundance and getting emotional in the Church. Then sorry, for those things are in no way any sign of genuine conversion. But evangelism and have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God
The silence of heaven over wickedness does not mean approval. Remaining in sin is an abuse of the Lord’s patience. When God seems slow to react, we might think He’s overlooking our transgressions—we continue in sin because the momentary pleasure of this world is more appealing than obedience of everlasting. Our heavenly Father is not slow; He’s patient! Abusing that patience with callous disregard for His statutes. you will have yourself to blame.
To avoid sacrificing something worthwhile(eternity) for something with no lasting value, we should guard against these attitudes and actions: 1) Allowing appetites to rule us. 2) Being blind to what’s truly valuable. 3) Failing to consider consequences
Our friendship with Jesus Christ is based on the new life He created in us, which has no resemblance or attraction to worldly life styles or obsession but only to the life of God. It is a life that is completely humble, obedience, pure, just, brotherly kindness, uprightness, holiness and devoted to God, outside these, you’re not a Christian, but a crowd in the Church for amusement and showcase of flamboyant life (with a title christian) a self wickedness.
Among many Essentials of a true Christian life for New Year are: Devotion to God’s word and prayer, an attitude of gratefulness, appreciative of others good work done according to lay down principle of God’s words and wise dealings with unbelievers. Making the most of opportunities to share our testimony and hope in the Lord God (gospel), just as written: “Letting your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt” (Col. 4:6).
Although trials are not always as a result of sin, they do play a big corrective role in our lives. The heavenly Father may use them to draw our attention to the truth we are neglecting, to sins we have tolerated, overlooked, or accepted as normal. These could be habits, attitudes, activities, or anything else that is not God’s absolute best for His child. Thus No matter how trivial we may think it is, no sin should have a place in a believer’s life.
When life brings reproofs, they will reveal who we are at our core. Embrace them- so gain wisdom and maturity. Reject them and forfeit the lessons they offer. it only took one painful lesson on the downfall that awaits the proud and the wicked, for the wise to commit him/herself to a life of submission to God’s will and plan for his life- SIN is a silent destroyer don’t toy with it!
There is a time to speak out and a time to hold your tongue, there is a time to leap into action and a time for thoughtful consideration, there is a time to give answers and a time to keep your own counsel, the real wisdom lies in knowing which is which, seeing the tragedy that’s befalling the world. The hand of the Lord JESUS CHRIST beckons.
A desire for good life and glorious future with God the Father begins with the recognition that we’ve sinned against God and there is no hope of salvation apart from Jesus Christ. What place should the Bible hold in our lives at the face of this pandemic coronavirus confronting the world?
The Bible should be everything to us, to do check and balancing of how our lives had been. It’s not just a book, it’s the mind of God. Every decision we make should be checked with the Bible. The Bible puts our minds, our emotions, and our decision-making process in line with God’s will and peace. And I guarantee God’s presence will abide with us for life, i e they that fear the Lord God in truth. Be not afraid of the coronavirus, thou true child of God.
The myth of overnight success has ruined a lot of people who expected fame and fortune without work and exertion. It takes time to develop a quality life, it is God’s principle. And for that matter, fame and fortune are myths too. That is, they don’t bring the peace and joy we crave, if it is outside God’s principles. What we need is godliness with contentment.
Our deepest flaws cannot be corrected cosmetically, it is not an external make-over by good works render in the church or to people, but an inner transformation, a relationship with God Who sees in secret. They are directly related to who we are in heart and mind, and they reveal how far we have fallen from the image of God in which we were created. Only Christ Jesus offers us true transformation. Christ transforms us into new people in Him – people with a new heart, not just fixed up to look good on the outside. Therefore seek Him always!
Following an elaborate set of religious rules that went well personally with our comfort, but outside the ones God had given to us. And working hard to look good in the eyes of others does not impress God one bit. What He values isn’t measured by what others or the world see. What God values is a clean heart and pure motives and keeping up to His instructions (Bible standards) first. Thus, Spiritual health is expressed from the inside out.
Loyalty to God, is really all about . . .trusting always in Him without having doubt. It’s believing and relying that our daily strength and needs He will provide. It is about faithfulness to God who is worthy of our true gratefulness! It takes determination, a devoted firmness, it takes fortitude, a dedicated steadiness. It takes perseverance, a resilient resoluteness, it takes commitment, a decisive willingness to achieve that height.
The world today is in pursuit of pleasure, wealth, popularity and seeking of knowledge and power, but in all, when compare with looking forward to the eternal pleasure of experiencing God’s presence, Heavenly dwelling forever; one would find out, all are vanity of vanities and grasping for the wind. None of these earthly desires add eternal value or enable us to pass our exams for eternity crown or have eternal consequences. “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mathew 16:24-26).
Christian values and principles will keep you in the right direction and in the right pespective with peace and a hope for eternal rest at the appropriate place if kept thoroughly
To keep in step with God’s perfect will, we must guard against jumping ahead of Him. Although waiting on the Lord is not always easy, we can never go wrong by patiently letting Him lead us according to His timing. When we step ahead of Him, trouble awaits us, but if we trust His guidance, He will lead us into His perfect will and accomplish more than we had in mind. He is omniscient and knows all things in the past, present, and future. The Lord sees every aspect of our lives, including our needs and desires. In His great wisdom, He understands what’s best for us. His divine schedule for our lives is always perfect and achieves His good purposes.
When you are at a loss, as to what to do and you’ve no answers not even a clue. Look unto God. When nothing seems to make much sense and you start to feel nervous and tense. Look unto God. For Hebrews 12:2 says: looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated down at the right hand of the throne of God. The Lord Jesus understood your situation very well, therefore trust Him.
If we don’t act on what we know and exercise and appropriate what has been given to us, it won’t benefit us. It won’t become a reality to us even though it’s our legal possession. Point blank! “KINGDOM of HEAVEN” where God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit dwell, it’s ours also, for we are joint heirs together with Christ. That’s why there’s need to know what belongs to us in Christ Jesus. Thus, our eyes of understanding need to be enlighten through the words of God (the Bible) so we can know and exercise our authority in Christ before it will benefit us!!
It’s better, and good, and important to be known for obedient to God, for doing what is right, not as a slander, for being peaceful, considerate and for humility, rather than to be known as a disobedient, complainer, cunny and evil speaking. Thus, former indicate the change made in a life, from a sincere follower of Christ Jesus (True Christian), while the latter is just a Christian by name. It’s through Jesus’ great gift of salvation that we are equipped to influence our world for good.
We would come to know God’s heart and mind, when we’re in the habit of regularly spending time alone with Him in His word “the Bible”. Then as difficult decisions come, we’ll be better prepared to discern His will. When we fully surrender to the Father’s plan, we put our decision-making into the hands of all-knowing, all-loving, all-powerful God, who holds the past, present, and future.
God may allow His own children to succeed when He has disciplined them to a point where he/she does not need to succeed to be happy. The man who is elated by success and cast down by failure is still a carnal man. God will allow His child to succeed when he/she has learned that success does not make him/her dearer to God nor more valuable in the total scheme of God. But true success from God is the one that the person inturn make many others successful, and not self importance or Self appraisal.
There are many factors by which the Lord
Hearing the word of God and acting on it is a powerful defense against the enemy (Satan’s) alluring activities, because the Bible says, “submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). When we are submitted to God’s word, we’re submitted to God. Thus, as we keep our soul renewed daily with His words, we keep our soul strong and healthy, in this instance, it’s easier to resist the devil on every front.
The greatest evil to oneself in this season of Joy (Christmas) is to outwardly appear righteously to people in public, but inward/inside we are full of disobedient to God’s instructions, fetish, hypocrite, lawlessness, immoral and evil. The Lord God our Creator sees every aspect of our lives, including our secret thoughts and open thoughts and actions. Thus, determine in this season of celebration what kind of reward would be ours at the end, don’t miss the true meaning of the season (Christmas) and make peace with God, for our eternal inheritance is together with the Lord Jesus Christ, gift of God to Mankind. Selah!
If we dwell on the negative side of things we will become what we dwell on. Thus, if we think the devil’s thoughts, immoral and sinful thoughts we will become possess, depressed, oppressed, and we go into error. Or we can think on the word of God (in the Bible), His promises and then our thinking becomes enlightened, illuminated, and flooded with light of God that brings victory. So, what we’re thinking about and dwelling on is what we’re believing and that’s what we will become, comes year 2021.
Wisdom is celebrated as a treasure that is worth seeking at every point in time, in every year. It is better than riches. Its source is God, Who alone is perfect. To be more precise, the truly wise persons, are those who see life from God’s point of view found in His word (Bible) and chooses to live according to His wisdom. Thus in practical terms, buying a soap doesn’t make one clean, Using it does. Like wise, owning a Bible doesn’t make you saved, Applying it does.
It doesn’t matter how long we have been as a Christian, or how doctrinally correct we’ve been in the past as a minister, if we leave the word of God, you throw yourself wide open for satanic deception and devil is ever ready to lead to his path of destruction with his agents or lustful close friends al-around, be vigilant, be diligent to prepare always. If a person is out beyond the word of God, he/she’s out too far from God. You’ll be out in a realm where Satan can deceive you. Thus, Putting the word God first will always keep you scripturally balanced, so you don’t open yourself up to satan’s subtle deceptions.

The more we know God and have deeper intimacy with Him the higher we go in the right direction, for God wants us to prevail on every side, having reveal Himself through His Son Jesus Christ. Without our faith in Him there’s no way we can accomplish much nor do great exploits in life. For by wise counsel we will wage our war, and in a multitude of wisely considered counselors there is safety. Thus faith is generated by reading, and believing in His words.
Living a life not fulfilling the purpose of God, is living a dangerous life heading to a life full of regrets. Our victory in eternity will be evaluated based on how well we have used our lives to serve God and humanity in all honesty, not the amount of wealth, title or number of qualifications we have acquired. It is a life style that God recognized that counts. Thus let us strive to bring pleasure to God our Creator.
We don’t have to fight to win the battle over Satan, Jesus has already won the victory for us, acting on the Word of God is what brings us out from under any dominion of satan’s strongholds. Thus we must simply walk in the light of God’s Word concerning that victory, and Jesus’ victory over the devil will become manifest in our daily lives.

Troubles or trials have the capacity to make or unmake us, all depend on our choice we make. When we see trouble/trial that comes our way in both its positive and its negative side, instead of consuming us, it would rather elevate us to a greater height. For every trouble or trial, there’s God’s purpose He wants to use it to achieve in our lives. He uses them to transform our lives onto His perfect will. Therefore, the solution is not to withdraw from God and from following the path of truth; that would make room for it to consume you. Trials or troubles are not strange to life but rather part of life. It points out our level of faith or relationship with God, whether standing with Him or not. The devil doesn’t have to cease and desist in his operations against you based on how loud you can yell at him. But he does have to stop in every strategy against you when you exercise your authority in Christ. You just have to know your rights and privileges in Christ and enforce Jesus’ victory over Satan with God’s Word. But, first and foremost, that rights and privileges begin by cleansing ourselves from the works of the flesh as listed in Galatians 5:19-21, We can’t have any of these works of the flesh and think when you yell at devil in prayer he will cease and desist his actions against you, NO! We are not trying to win the victory over Satan. Jesus has already won that victory. We only can simply enforce Jesus’ victory with the Word of God in our lives, when our hearts and minds are cleansed from death works of the flesh. Thus God’s word is irrevocable clear when He said I go to prepare a place for you in heaven and He is coming back to take you with Him. As the world around us is moving farther away from objective truths and Christian principles, the true Church must be ready to stand for Jesus Christ, taking its example from the martyrs of the past. Examine what people say and do by the word of God, and if it doesn’t line up with the word, don’t accept it, whether it’s from popular GSs/GOs, popes and pastors’ teaching or someone else. Thus there’s just a tiny line between true spirituality and false spirituality. So let’s just be open to the word of God and to the spirit of God, and let Him lead and guard us unto all TRUTHs.
A follower of truth or God’s word, without wavering when it’s been said honestly, irrespective of the person whom God appointed, aligns you into the workings of God’s principle “I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you”. Thus as we stand for the truth of God in the Bible always and get the Word on the inside of us, then it identifies us with God, and situations in our lives will begin to be corrected.
